YSS Dive Commerical and Hoodsport n Dive has been training commercial harvest divers since the early 1990s. We offer courses for aspiring commercial harvesters and non-diving tenders, focusing on safety and personalized teaching.

We transform individuals with no harvest experience into safe, capable Surface Supplied Tenders and Divers. While we don’t teach harvesting itself, we ensure safety during harvesting or tending.

Our program starts with basic open water SCUBA skills, which can be learned through any recognized dive training program. Certified divers then advance to our Surface Supplied program, where they receive Nitrox training and learn proper equipment care, including drysuits and dive computers.

Additionally, we train students in emergency procedures like Oxygen administration, First Aid, CPR, and AED use. Divers also learn about compressors, umbilical line handling, surface communication, KMB mask maintenance, and safe diving techniques.
